DU has no records of Modi’s B.A., says Kejriwal

Stepping up his attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi over his alleged fake degree, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Friday claimed there were no records to prove that he had taken his B.A. from Delhi University.

“With full responsibility I say that they there are no details of his enrolment form, enrolment number, degree available with Delhi University. His name is not mentioned anywhere,” said Mr. Kejriwal.

Mr. Kejriwal told reporters that the probe carried out by Aam Aadmi Party volunteers found the records of only one Narendra Kumar Modi, who took admission in Delhi University in 1975 and he belonged to Alwar, Rajasthan.

‘Different person’

“His birth year is 1958 whereas our PM was born in 1950. He is obviously a different person,” Mr. Kejrwal said.

Asking for strict action against Mr. Modi, he said forging a degree was a serious crime.
