Delhi schools closed till January 12

In view of the extreme cold weather in the Capital, Delhi Education Minister Kiran Walia on Thursday directed the schools to remain closed up to January 12.

The order has been issued to all recognised aided/unaided schools under the Directorate of Education besides schools run by the Municipal Corporation of Delhi, New Delhi Municipal Council and Delhi Cantonment Board. The order warns that non-compliance will be viewed seriously.
