Delhi government employees working on contract will be given permanent jobs, Education Minister Manish Sisodia announced on Friday.

A 13-member committee headed by Chief Secretary Sanjoy Kumar Srivastava will decide the policy and guidelines for this, the Aam Aadmi Party leader said.

According to an official, over one lakh employees are currently working in different departments of the Delhi government on contract.

No direct recruitment must be done. there are Screening test to
recruit capable person for the right job and must go through the
Selection criteria by DSSSB and as you know that Contact workers are
getting more salary than Pvt. sector in Education or other deptt. and
also, they are getting the horonium/compensation per month and Pl.
thinks with the view of new aspirants who are still struggling for
getting job.
So,Please, do not regularise the contact workers in to permanent job.
If so, they have to go through the Selection Criteria by DSSSB AS PER
THE NORMS & REGULATION and now reveal the provision of age relaxation
to appear entrance Exam for PRT/TGT/PGT for Senior Teacher who are
still working on contact basis but reached over age & having rich

Given that these contract workers, despite their obvious personal
aspiration to be in permanent service and this qualified for lifelong
pensions, have been getting their dues in time and according to accepted
rates, AAP would be committing a gross injustice by showing charity tot
them.Undue generosity at taxpayer expense--a contemporary variation of
Louis XIV's "After me the Deluge" policy-- will add to the financial
burden of successive governments too. Thus this is a counterproductive
move anyway you analyze it!

It is a welcome step. Different Govts should follow the line of Delhi
Govt and regularise contract workers who are at present working for a
meagre salary, of which contractors pocket nearly half the money and
deprive them of all their legitamate rights. It is impossible even to
meet the basic needs of life with this meagre salary. The apathy of the
Govts both at the centre and the states towards them cannot be excused
They should giveup their anti worker stand. It is refreshing that the
Delhi Govt has taken bold step to regularise them. Men in Delhi Govt
should not bother about those vested interests who abuse them calling
mad, anarchists etc
