‘Committed to promoting business’

: The Haryana government is fully committed to the promotion of industries and ease of doing business in the State, said Principal Secretary (Industries) Haryana, Devender Singh, on Wednesday.

Mr. Singh was speaking as a chief guest at the government-industry interactive meeting on Pollution and Proposed New Estate Management Procedure (EMP), organised by the Federation of Indian Industry (FII), Haryana Chapter, at the Haryana State Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation (HSIIDC) Complex in Gurgaon.

The State government has already enacted the New Enterprises Policy Act. And simplification of rules and procedures pertaining to setting up of industrial units in the State is already in progress and will be completed in a month’s time, Mr. Singh added.

Mr. Singh added that the State had received 98 action points from the Centre for the foundation and promotion of ease of doing business.

He said the State government was taking concrete steps for redressal of grievances of the entrepreneurs and a high power committee was being constituted.
