Boys accused of raping classmate

A Class XII student of a government school was allegedly abducted and gang-raped by her four classmates in Manesar here on Friday.

Two of the juveniles have been detained in this connection. All the four allegedly involved in the crime are minors.

According to the police, the girl was waiting for her school bus at the designated stop in Manesar on Friday morning when the four boys came in a car and made her board the vehicle on some pretext.

The four then blind-folded her, took her to an isolated place and took turns to rape her. The girl was later left near her house in the evening, the police said.

The girl, aged around 16 years, narrated the incident to her family who got the first information report registered against the boys. They were later identified by the girl.

The FIR was registered under different sections of the Indian Penal Code and under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act. The medical examination of the victim has been done, the police said.

Two detained

Two of the four boys were detained on Saturday. They were produced before the judicial magistrate who sent both of them to a juvenile home in Faridabad.

“The remaining two have been identified and teams have been sent to various places to track them,” said Assistant Commissioner of Police (Crime) and Gurgaon Police spokesperson Rajesh Chechi.
