Two suspected snatchers were arrested after a bodybuilder caught hold of them while they were trying to flee after snatching his chain in Rohini, the police said on Thursday.
Suresh (24) and Suraj (22) tried to snatch the chain of Rohit Rana using a stolen two-wheeler on February 28, DCP (Rohini District) M.N. Tiwari said.
“The attempt was foiled as Rohit and the public managed to catch hold of the accused,” said the officer. “It is learnt that the duo was involved in 15 cases of chain-snatching and robbery,” said the officer. The police said Rohit and others will be rewarded for catching the duo.
