The Bharatiya Janata Party’s chief ministerial candidate Kiran Bedi has been elaborating on her vision for the city on various media platforms. The former cop in her first appearance on radio spot promised her listeners a ‘secure’ and ‘corruption-free’ Delhi.
In her radio message, Ms. Bedi is heard saying how she was asked by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to serve Delhi, which she has been doing for the past 40 years, a bit more. “I will give you a secure and corruption-free Delhi. For that we need to put in place a stable government.”
Ms. Bedi recently promised that, once elected chief minister, she would go on air every month to give report card of her government.
