Two injured as crackers go off

: Two persons suffered burns when bags of crackers stored at a home in outer Delhi’s Mangolpuri went off on Friday afternoon.

The injured have been identified as Shahbuddin (49) and Karia (35). They are admitted at Safdarjung Hospital and are expected to survive, said the police.

The victims were involved in welding works in the house when sparks lit about five sacks of crackers stored nearby. A case against the house owner has been registered at the Mangolpuri police station. The police said he had no licence to store the crackers.
