4 held for raping Delhi girl in Noida

Four men who allegedly gangraped a Delhi girl on Monday have been arrested by the Gautam Buddh Nagar Police here.

In her complaint, the victim alleged that the men, whom she knew, took turns to rape her in an area that comes under the Kasna police station.

“The complainant said the accused lured her into a ride to Greater Noida in a Tata Indica. She claimed that all the four men raped her in the car. A case was registered against the accused and a police team arrested them from Greater Noida. They were produced before a court and have been sent to jail,” said Abhishek Yadav, Superintendent of Police (Rural), Gautam Buddh Nagar.

Police said all the accused are residents of Moti Bagh area in Delhi.

In a separate incident, the police arrested a 19-year-old youth for allegedly raping his neighbour, who is a minor. The incident occurred on Tuesday evening when the accused, identified as Hariom, was caught sexually exploiting the minor in the kitchen, said the police.

“The girl’s family approached us. A police team was sent to the spot and the accused was arrested. A case has been registered against him. He was produced before a court and sent to jail,” said a police officer.
