24-year-old Delhi boy Himanshu Bansal killed in bike race

A 24-year-old boy died in a bike accident near Mandi House late on Tuesday night. The boy, identified as Himanshu Bansal, was on his way from Connaught Place when he lost control of his high-speeding bike and rammed into a wall near Mandi house.

When police reached the spot, they reportedly found damaged Benelli TNT 600i motorbike, pieces of glass and blood splattered on the road.

Giving details, DCP of Delhi Police, B.K. Singh said, “An elderly person was crossing the road and Himanshu lost control. His bike hit the wall of Lady Irwin College and he was critically injured. Passersby sent him to nearby hospital where he was declared brought dead. The entire video of the accident was captured in the helmet camera of one of his friends who was riding behind him.”
