The suicide of autorickshaw driver K. Haneefa (45) of Kamarajapuram, near R.S. Puram, on Friday sparked tension at the Coimbatore Medical College Hospital on Saturday, as his relatives alleged that he took the extreme step as he was frequently questioned by the police in connection with the murder of college student T. Arnold (21) in the city last year.

Argument

They also refused to take his body from the hospital. But, the police claimed that the driver ended his life as he was upset over family affairs. After an argument for a few minutes, the relatives took his body from the hospital.
