Police use mild force to disperse BJP cadre

Tense moments and commotion prevailed at Sivanada Colony and Gandhipuram on Wednesday night when police used mild force to disperse Bharatiya Janata Party cadre when they were marching towards the Aam Aadmi Party office in the area.

Police said that the BJP activists took out a rally towards the AAP office to vandalise the same as a fallout of AAP activists staging a protest outside the BJP office in New Delhi.

Around 9 p.m., hundreds of BJP party members gathered at Sivanandha Colony and marched towards the AAP office on seventh street extension in Gamdhipuram. Attempts by the police to stop the BJP activists faced resistance.

Precautionary measure

Police used force to chase them away. Police also picked up 15 BJP activists. Police reinforcements have posted in the area as a matter precaution.
