Indian market

The company started Indian operations last year, primarily as a back office for its U.S. operations.

And, it was focusing on the Indian market too now. Indian operations of the company had its head quarters in Chennai and Coimbatore branch was an effort to expand operations to other parts of the country. Branches would be opened in Madurai, Tiruchi and Tirunelveli too in the State.

Hardware and intelligent hardware would be good contributors to the company's revenue in the Indian market, they said.

Revenue

The company employed 700 people and had a total revenue of Rs. 250 crore.

The Coimbatore branch would offer sales and support for the entire range of products.

“Coimbatore can be a good place for expanding our off-shore services. However, the company does not have any plan now to expand,” they said.

“Coimbatore is a strategic market in terms of location and business potential. With the inauguration of the branch here, PERI is poised well to provide the best solutions for companies that invest,” according to a release from PERI.
