Eicher Polaris Private Limited – a joint venture of Eicher Motors Limited and Polaris Industries – launched Multix personal utility vehicle in Tamil Nadu at Coimbatore on Thursday.
Chief Executive Officer of Eicher Polaris Private Limited Radhesh C. Verma said that Multix is designed and engineered for independent businessmen.
He said that the vehicle is available for test rides now and deliveries will commence soon. The vehicle is built after extensive consumer study, he said.
With a 511 CC diesel engine, the vehicle gives mileage up to 28.45 kilometres per litre.
Equipped with a power-take-off point, the vehicle can generate power up to three kilo watt, that can be used for various purposes and price starts at Rs 2.84 lakh.
