Lalithaa Jewellery to expand to Coimbatore

Lalithaa Jewellery will open its eighth branch at Oppanakara Street here on April 20.

According to M. Kiran Kumar, Chairman and Managing Director of Lalithaa Jewellery Mart, it has invested Rs. 175 crore at the 20,000 sq.ft showroom here. The outlet will have a wide range of gold jewellery, diamond jewellery and silverware.

The wastage is less than seven per cent for most of its products.

The company plans to open outlets in Vishakapatnam and Tirupathi shortly, he said.

It has manufacturing facilities in cities such as Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Coimbatore, Kolkata, and Ahmedabad.

These are gold smithies and the workers are trained by the company regularly.

The outlet will showcase the entire range of in-house manufactured collections. The showroom here will offer one per cent reduction on wastage charges from April 20 to 26, he said.
