March 30, 2013 10:38 am | Updated 10:38 am IST - COIMBATORE:

The Coimbatore Rural Police probing into the murder of three men in Karamadai on Thursday continued their investigation on Friday. According to Superintendent of Police E.S. Uma, as of Friday the police were yet to crack the case. Given the situation it would be wrong to say that the accused came from a particular region or spoke a particular language.

On Thursday, the town woke up to the news of the murder of three men, who were sleeping in the open near the bus stand.

The police said the incident could have happened around 2 a.m. and suspected that there could be a link to the murders. But later, it became clear that the victims did not know one another.
