Hyder Ali’s bail plea: hearing on June 30

The Principal Sessions Court on Monday posted the bail plea of Hyder Ali, charged with attempting to murder Hindu leaders in 1989, to June 30.

Last week, the Special Court for Coimbatore Serial Bomb Blasts Cases had granted Hyder Ali a conditional bail in a case of possessing explosives, and criminal conspiracy.

Hyder Ali, who was on the run for more than two decades, was arrested recently from Palakkad district in Kerala.
