Grievances redress meetings

The district administration will organise special meetings to redress grievances of consumers regarding the public distribution system, at various villages in all the five taluks on February 11.

According to a press release from Collector V. Arun Roy here, taluk supply officers will preside over these meetings to be held from 10 a.m.

The special officers of cooperative societies, panchayat presidents, representatives of consumer and voluntary organisations will participate.

An officer in the rank of Deputy Collector nominated will be the special observer, the release said.

The meetings in Krishnagiri district will be held at Kappalvadi (Krishnagiri taluk), Keezhmayilampatti (Pochampalli), Panamarathupatti (Uthangarai), Angondaalli (Hosur) and Unnisenatham (Denkanikottai).
