Four persons were killed and another seriously injured on Friday when their car rammed into a compound wall of a house at Chettipalayam on the city outskirts.
The victims identified as Swaminathan, Pradeep, Saravana Kumar, Sanath Kumar and Deepak were going for trials and training for a car race at Chettipalayam scheduled for Saturday when the mishap occurred, the police said.
Deepak was admitted to a government hospital in Coimbatore, the police said.
