Confederation of Real Estate Developers' Associations of India (CREDAI) Coimbatore will organise the third edition of Fairpro, an annual property exhibition, here from August 5 to 7.

Chairman for the event Madan Lund told presspersons here on Monday that the exhibition would showcase nearly 100 projects in and around the city.

About 10,000 homes with a floor print of more than 12 million sq.ft would be displayed. This year, the exhibition would have 32 developers and four banks (Axis, HDFC, ICICI and State Bank of India). The participants would have offers for their projects and the banks would provide spot approvals and special interest rates.

The cost of the houses would range from Rs. 20 lakh to Rs. 2 crore each. All the developers participating in the fair were members of CREDAI. The event would be held at the CODISSIA Trade Fair Complex from August 5 to 7 and would be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

As many as 15,000 visitors and spot business of Rs.50 crore was expected at the three-day fair.

The Hindu Property Plus is the media partner for the exhibition.

CREDAI Coimbatore president V. Subramanian and vice-president Omkar Sankar said the local chapter of the association, which had 57 members here, had a website that listed all projects of its members.

Those looking out for a property would be able to search according to their need on the website. It also had an online legal forum. The chapter would soon launch a redressal forum.

Consumers would be able to represent their grievance regarding any project of the association members to the forum.

The city had huge potential for property development. About 4,000 apartments were sold in the city every year and this was expected to go beyond 5,000 a year as the corporation limits were expected to expand.
