The Anamalais Kennel Club will hold a dog show on June 18 at the Hindustan College of Arts and Science in the city.
Foreign breeds to be featured in the show are German Shepherd, Doberman, Siberian Husky, Bull Mastiff, Boxer, Miniature Pinscher, Belgium Shepherd, Labrador, Golden Retriever, Irish setter, Weimaraner, Dachshund, Fox Terrier, Whippet, Saluki, Welsh Corgi, Chihuahua, French Bulldog, Brazilian Fila, Silky Terrier, Jack Russell Terrier, Rottweiler and Dalmatian among others. Indian native breeds such as Rajapalayam, Kombai, Chippiparai, Mudhol Hound, Rampur Greyhound, and Kanni will also be part of the show.
Judges
The show would be judged by C. V. Sudarshan from Chennai, T. Preetam, Yashodhara Hema Chandra from Bengaluru, and C. A. Martin from Goa. The show would start at 10 a.m. and go on upto 6 p.m., the organisers said.
