An exhibition featuring the handicrafts and paintings made by cancer-affected children was held at the Sri Ramakrishna Institute of Oncology and Research here recently to mark the Children’s Day on November 14.

The children made a lot of handicraft items such as paper dolls and wooden articles. They also came out with paintings on different topics.

They were given awards to motivate them.

Institute’s director P. Guhan said the objective of the event was to celebrate the faith of the children and their spirit in conquering this deadly disease.

The works were kept on display at the Ramakrishna Hospital Auditorium.
