A van found abandoned near the railway station here, created a flutter for some time on Saturday.

Call taxi drivers near the Station lodged a complaint this morning, stating the van, bearing Karnataka registration, was parked for the past three days and it was difficult to keep their vehicles without knowing the details about it.

Based on the information, police opened the car with some instruments and found a copy of RC book, some CDs and a piece of log inside. The RC had the address of one Kumaresan, Pattanthur Agraharam, Bangalore-66, police said.

The vehicle has been towed and kept in the premises of a police station, they said.
