Students of Kumar English Medium School at Nuzvid won the second prize, a bronze Nandi in the children's category, in the Andhra Pradesh Nandi Natakotsavam 2011, held at Guntur recently. The students put up a playlet “Kalagajja Kankalamma” .
The annual science exhibition organised by Gora Science Centre for school children had children from different schools in and around Vijayawada city attending. The former president of Indian Medical Association, G. Samaram, addressed the gathering. Gora Science Centre Director, Niyantha, gynaecologist Maru and others participated.
