A special treat for the festival season

This is one of my favourite sweet dishes which can be easily made at home. I learnt this recipe from my friend’s mother.

What you need

Rava - 1 cup

Sugar - 1 cup

Cashew nuts -15

Raisins -20

Cardamom powder -1/4 tsp

Ghee -1/2 cup

Cooking instructions

Heat 2 tsp of ghee and roast rava over low flame till you get the aroma of roasted rava.

Now grind the rava to a coarse powder and the sugar to a fine powder.

Take 1 cup of this coarsely powdered rava, 1 cup powdered sugar, cardamom powder and mix well.

Heat ghee well and mix little by little to the rava and sugar mix and make balls when warm.

After it cools, store in an air tight container.
