The sheer variety of artworks on display at Beyond Coffee is bound to leave one spellbound. Put together by a group of Dubai-based artists, Kaleidoscope stays true to its name with a multitude of colours, themes and medium on display. The concept of Kaleidoscope was born with the aim of supporting talented artists across age groups and act as a bridge between artists and art buyers.

Started by Satya Sunitha, an artist based out of Dubai, Kaleidoscope Arts was launched when she discovered the need to create awareness about contemporary realistic Indian art. With this aim in mind, she began Kaleidoscope Arts, an art school with over 350 students in collaboration with Bhavani Manoj. The duo after having held several exhibitions abroad decided to display their collections and those of their students in the Hyderabadi market. The ongoing show at Beyond Coffee has on display a wide variety of works by mature and amateur artists. The works include portraits of Indian gods, wildlife, landscapes and abstracts. For instance there is a series of works capturing the various moods of Buddha by Sandhya Jayanti, while J. Vijaya Laxmi prefers to create surreal landscapes. Bhavani Manojkumar pays tribute to Lord Krishna through The Magic of Flute, while Satya Sunitha has displayed her series of works on the lion titled The King. Another artist Dattatreya depicts city life with all its myriad shades including childhood, street children playing without a care in the world and portraits of Banjara women in their colourful avatars.

The works are on display at Beyond Coffee till January 22.
