Students in the Capital took the message of road safety forward creatively

October 09, 2013 07:29 pm | Updated 07:29 pm IST - NEW DELHI:

Students of ASN Sr. Sec. School, Mayur Vihar, presented a unique display of music, dance, drama and poetry with an important message of ‘Safety First, Safety Always’ under the awareness campaign “Safety On Roads”. The chief guest for the day was ACP Road Safety Rishipal Rana.

The little traffic ambassadors of grade II promoted safe behaviour among road users through their role play and mesmerised the audience with their unique dance on ‘Keep Safe and Stay Alive’. The budding “nukkad natak” specialists added special flavour to the theme of road safety by expressing their concern towards this sensitive issue and raising an appeal for being “better safe than sorry”.

Rana appreciated the efforts of the little ones working towards this sensitive issue of “Road Safety”. He was overwhelmed by the performances and commended the little ones for taking forward the torch of road safety.

Chairman K.L. Luthra in his address underlined the importance of traffic police and traffic rules in smooth functioning of the traffic system on roads, while Principal Sonia Luthra congratulated all the students and teachers for putting up the show.
