Marketing Manager by the day and fashion designer by night, I’m Manvi Gandotra and my interests vary quite a bit. I strike a balance between the corporate and the creative by writing in my free time on my fashion blog styleinked.com

I design clothes and sell my clothes via boutiques in Bangalore and Jammu. Hailing from Jammu and Kashmir, I have made Bangalore home. Fashion comes naturally to me and I even craft my own DIY’s. I have a separate section on my blog for other DIYers . Recently one of my posts got repined over 4,000 times on Pinterest (I’m so proud of it!). Writing about fashion lets me stay in touch with the latest trends and converse with really smart people all over India. I’ve also completed two fun collaborations with Tanishq and Lee where I styled their recent product launches.

I’ve designed saris for weddings and dresses for cocktail parties. I love the intricate complexity of women’s Indian ethnic wear. At the same time I love to design western wear where my emphasis is on elegance and simplicity.

Not limited to just fashion, I am also a photographer and you can find me clicking away photos of people in the streets of Lucknow or on Chandni Chowk and I might quickly switch to haggling over that blue scarf with traditional chikan work.

My marketing job with my MNC lets me travel pan India for events and client meets and I thoroughly enjoy it. I’m lucky that my work and passion allow each other to co-exist in harmony.
