On a mission to get fit? Tired of eating that boring bowl of steamed veggies and are yearning for a little crunch and flavour minus the calories? A salad might not be such a bad option. With several healthy food delivery options at your disposal, it doesn’t seem so far fetched either. As I browse through a range of salad options, such as Toasty Halloween, Mustard Magic, Mexican Mozzarella, Pan-Doori, Thai Pod and Smoky Paprika at Relish Nutrition, I find that it’s hard to make a choice.

Each one of them sounds delicious with the promise of nutrition and health. Relish Nutrition is the latest to introduce a range of salads to their menu in addition to their existing smoothies, juices and nut milks.

According to Sowmya Ganesh, co-founder of the company, “Adding salads to our menu was a natural progression. Our smoothies, cold-pressed juices and nut milks have found many takers in the city with some pretty amazing testimonials coming our way. But for someone looking for a fibre-rich and more satiating option, salads are the perfect choice; especially for the busy professional who’s also health conscious.”

The salads, which were introduced a month ago, are the perfect balance of proteins, minerals, carbohydrates and essential fat. “There’s a lot of thought that’s gone into creating this menu. And all of the salads are prepared fresh on order. So, there’s no question of storage or wastage. All we need is a 90-minute advance notice for the salads and smoothies,” she says.

The company soon plans to introduce wild rice and pasta salads as well. Orders can be placed either on their website www.relishnutrition.co or by calling 98403 10312.
