An awareness workshop titled ‘Let’s Join the Fight to Beat Breast Cancer and Cervical Cancer,’ will be held at Hotel Accord Metropolitan, T. Nagar, on October 19, 3.30 p.m. to 5.30 p.m.
Organised by T. Mangharam, The Fabric People, in association with Madras Metro Ladies Circle 70, the session is targeted at women.
Dr. Jaishree Gajaraj, cervical cancer specialist, gynaecologist and obstetrician, will speak.
With life moving at a fast pace today, women tend to neglect their health. It is also of concern to note the increasing incidence of breast and cervical cancer among women. Dr. Jaishree’s talk will focus on what precautions can be taken to prevent these diseases.
