Tabu doesn't identify with the term muse but considers the experience of working in Meenaxi – a tale of three cities as one of the best in her career. “Some people touch our lives making it better. Merely being in the same space as that of Husain saab was enriching for me,” says the actress.

Taking time off to talk about the country's most famous artist, she says, “As a Hyderabadi, I feel proud that the city had a long standing association with him. Personally, I feel fortunate and privileged that I got to work with him. A film is a mere by product. For all of us in the project, just being with a man like him added a new dimension to our lives,” she says.

On the sets of Meenaxi , be it Prague, Jaisalmer or Hyderabad, it was more than just work, she reminisces. “Great work went into the film's making and we had a committed cast and crew. More than that, whenever Husain saab was around, his love for life was infectious. The shootings were occasions when he ensured that all of us had great fun. I don't think I have had so much on the sets of any other film in my career. Throughout the making of the film, I observed him and tried to understand what made him the person he was. But certain things can never be decoded.”
