Karun Chandhok, racer
Flipboard because I get to read news on all my favourite subjects. The Tour de France live app is also great. (This application gives you all the details on the race in real time. One can access the news wire of the race, live gaps on the stage maps and profiles, and the classifications and results at the end of each stage.)
Kalki Koelchin, actor
Voxer. It is an integrated multimedia, push-to-talk application. You can send voice, text and photos to individuals in groups in real time.
Tusahar Kapoor, actor
Twitter. It’s fun and helps me stay in touch with my followers on a more personal level!
Trisha, actor
Truecaller. It is much easier to screen calls and avoid unnecessary numbers, as it shows you who the caller is before you even answer.
Vishal, actor
Truecaller. A worldwide name and number look-up service with Caller ID, it enables me to match phone numbers to names, addresses, social networks, and even pictures.
R. Ashwin, cricketer
Whatsapp and Truecaller. Since I get a lot of calls from unknown numbers, it helps me identify the caller and decide whether I need to answer it or not.
RJ Balaji
My app — RJ Balaji — just to check if it’s working.
I like utility apps more than recreational ones — those that help me recharge my DTH connection or net bank at the click of a button. I am quite uncomfortable using most apps as they request access to either your location or photo gallery or other personal data. I wish people were more cautious when they give data-access permissions to apps.
