After the success of “Masti” and “Grand Masti”, director Indra Kumar has come up with “Great Grand Masti”. Recently, the Masti trio – Vivek Oberoi, Riteish Deshmukh and Aftab Shivdasani were in the city

Riteish who has worked with Indra Kumar in five films called their relationship as that of an elder and younger brother. “This is the funniest of all the films that I have done. We have explored the genre of horror comedy – a first of its kind in Bollywood. Aftab chipped in with tongue firmly in cheek. “This time we have tried to make it more family-oriented. So we won't call it an adult comedy but a naughty comedy.” As always he is playing a character whose silly advice ensures that the three friends get stuck in a haunted house where they come across a flirtatious ghost played by Urvashi Rautela. A former beauty queen, Urvashi quips here her character falls into “pyaasi chudail” category. “I found the boys welcoming and would like to work with the trio again.” In return, Vivek praised her. “All three of us feel that she is very professional and hardworking. It takes guts to do a role with such variations particularly when she is at the start of her career.”

Explaining the term adult horror comedy where kids are not allowed to watch the film, “It is a film where you will be laughing while we will be getting scared on screen.” Talking about their chemistry in the series, Ritesh said, “When we started with Masti in 2004 we worked as co-actors, in Grand Masti we worked like friends and this time we were brothers. Our understanding and relationship has improved with every film and you can see it on screen. We try to improvise and tweak our dialogues with the director as now we know our roles very well.”

Vivek added, “We had our families with us and it was like a paid holiday.” Hope the fun translates on screen!
