This organisation, operating since 1996 in Delhi, is now providing limousines on rent. And, no wonder it has been quite a hit. While talking to their Marketing Director, Aditya Loomba, I asked how one can rent a limousine and how competitive the market is.
“Well, we have had limousines for rent for the last three years and the response has been pretty good. To our surprise, it has become quite popular in marriages and parties. We get calls for renting a limousine from corporates, diplomats, top executives, business families, etc. Apart from this, it is also booked for special occasions like birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, and all. In fact, just as we speak today, the limousine is hired by a Polish diplomat,” mentions Loomba.
Besides, the coveted limousines, Eco Rent A Car has a fleet of top line models of cars from Mercedes, Audi to BMW. And interestingly, they are not just provided as cabs but also as self-driven cars. Loomba takes pride in sharing about the number of countries they offer services in. It is spread in 45 different countries. In India, they have presence in around 54 cities. “There has been growing competition and we have been constantly trying to better ourselves. We have some distinct offerings already. Also, we will soon bring everything on mobile. So, yes with changing times it is getting more competitive but there are more opportunities too as people now are hiring more cars and they are ready to spend if quality services are offered. We recently won an award as ‘Best Transport Operator Company’ which was given by the President of India.”
Coming back to the big 28-feet long Chrysler limousine, the car Loomba that offered me, it was in silver grey and came along with a chauffeur and a helper. They came with a red carpet welcome. And, it was all quite a spectacle. It exuded luxury from the inside as well as from the outside.
