There is a growing awareness of being environmental friendly everywhere you look. It was thus only a matter of time before the organic movement caught up with the beauty world.

Naturals Beauty Salon recently tied up with Keune, a brand from the Netherlands, to launch organic hair products in three retail outlets in the city.

Says Veena Kumaravel, founder of Naturals Beauty Salon: “Organic hair products are a healthy option for your tresses as they are ammonia-free, paraben-free and sulphate-free. It won’t be chemically abusive to your hair.”

In a city that stills follows and uses grandma's recipes, Ayurveda and herbal products to maintain one’s hair, Sanjeev, the CEO of Glosel, recommends the product to consumers.

“Health should not be compromised in the pursuit of beauty. As our products are organic, they are safe to use,” he says.
