Electro Mania

Fuchsias, neon yellows, blues or greens... electric shades are in this summer. The runways of the world see a big upswing in muted natural colours for the garments contrasting with wild colours on the bags.

Faux leather

Among top trends this summer, reptile skin patents and foils on leather are among the most noted. More so in unnatural shades like blue and mint green. Go for the faux snake skin or crocodile leather bags; they're must-haves!

Plastic / Transparent bags

Very candy, very girly and not for those who have a messy array of junk stashed up in their bag! Transparent bags are expected to be quite the rage in the days to come and have already become quite a rage in the West!

Retro-inspired bags

The big guns are singing the retro song this season. Most of the elite international brands have made a retro statement to their line of bags. Appliqués, colours, cuts and a handle to match, mostly in metal and snap magnets and heavy metal zippers.

Basket bags

An unexpectedly cool trend is the basket bag. Closely followed by a trend of the transparent bag, the basket bag also gives a vintage twist. It's fun and vibrant to carry around and enhances one's youthfulness! Add a beautiful printed scarf to this and you're ready to hit the beach as well... Hence it's multipurpose, and if your shopping list is still incomplete I'd strongly recommend a basket bag this summer.

Long handles

IPL might have gotten over but the use of the “long handle”, but it's not restricted to power hitting in cricket!! Long handles and special chain handles are very in this season and quite logically so. Long handle bags also free the hand clutching the bag.. A good option for a hot summer day!
