All right you like Jacqueline Fernandes but haven't seen enough of the gorgeous girl on screen. What do you do? Inspired by her debut movie, Aladin , rub a lamp till your hands are chaffed? Here's a simpler option. Just tune in to Making the Cut . The show is ready for its second season on MTV, with Jacqueline Fernandes making an appearance in one of the episodes.

“I'll be telling the participants what to do, what not to, how to walk, how to survive the competition and guide them in the right direction,” says Jacqueline, who has been around in the fashion industry for a while now.

And in an industry that requires one to be well turned out most of the time, what is her personal style like? “Comfort clothing,” she says.

The actor joins the panel of judges that includes designer Narendra Kumar, Editor-In-Chief of ELLE India Nonita Kalra and supermodel Dipannita Sharma. “Making the Cut” has around 30 participants (10 designers, 10 male and 10 female models) battling it out for the top spot. The winning designer will get an opportunity to showcase his/her collection at a specially created fashion event and the winning models will get to be the face of Signature as well as Adidas Neo Label 2011.

“The contestants are great, they are enthusiastic and I think some of them have the potential to make it big. It's a lovely show that looks to promote new talent,” says Jacqueline.

Having participated in the Miss Sri Lanka pageant and won the title, this leggy model-turned-actor is aware of the stress, trials and tribulations that such contests can bring along. “It's not the end of the world if you don't make it,” are her words of wisdom. Her de-stress method involves relaxing at home or cooking a meal.

Apart from the show what else is keeping Jacqueline busy? “I have a few projects lined up,” is the answer. Can you tell us a bit about them, I prod. “No I cannot talk about them,” is the firm reply. Has anybody heard anything? We sure haven't!

“Making the Cut” will be aired on Fridays at 8 p.m. on MTV.
