Work, lunch, deadlines, parties...Lets face it, most of us have choc-a-bloc schedules that hardly allow us time to stop and stare. And to top it all the snarling traffic makes it a challenge to get anywhere on time. While nothing can be done about that, here’s something on the grooming front that might just cheer you up. All you need is two minutes. Estée Lauder presents a range of signature services that helps you transform your look in minutes.

At ‘A Day of Luxury’, an event organised recently by FICCI Ladies Organisation (FLO), Chennai Chapter, at Taj Coromandel, Estee Lauder, brought in six of its specially trained beauticians to demonstrate the various looks that can be created.

“We at FICCI organise numerous events. The last few have been serious events so we thought of organising a light and fun do this time. Women play multiple roles — businesswoman, homemaker, mother and wife. We are on the go all the time and these quick fixes are important,” said Mrinalini Maher, chairperson, FICCI FLO.

The beauticians showcased four new looks — classic, romantic (with emphasises on cheeks and lips), dramatic (smoky eyes) and natural.

Anjali Gaikwad, manager marketing, Estée Lauder said, “It’s good to see people experimenting more with lip colour. But the most common mistake we notice is that they opt for the wrong foundation that doesn’t match their skin tone. That’s why when clients walk into our store we personalise the experience by helping them with a shade that matches their tone.”

The event also marked the launch of the first Estée Lauder store in Chennai at Phoenix Market City.
