Entries are invited for the 15th Madurai International Documentary and Short Film Festival which will be organised in Madurai from December 6 to 10.
Selected films and documentaries under the International films, Rest of India and Films from Tamil Nadu categories will be screened for the public.
This time under the Retrospective section, documentaries of Pankaj Butalia will be showcased. Films distributed by Magic Lantern Films and curated by Gargi Sen will also be screened. The country package section will be curated by Paul Lee.
According to Amudhan R.P., festival director, it is a non-competitive film festival with no entry fee. There is no restriction on themes and duration for documentary films. Short films have a duration limit up to 30 minutes. Entries for the Rest of India and Tamil Nadu categories should have sub-titles in English. Films and documentaries (non-returnable) have to be submitted along with the entry form.
