Into its third year, Bridal Mantra has become a one-stop destination for shopping and creative solutions relating to weddings. After featuring a clutch of top names in the bridal segment from the design world, this year too, the gala event, scheduled for August 30 to September 1, at Leela Palace, Chennai, will bring to the fore the cutting-edge designs by the likes of Narendra Kumar Ahmed and Gaurav Gupta.
The design segment is just one of the key components of Bridal Mantra . A major part of the exposition will feature the latest from leading jewellers and silk retail houses. GRT Jewellers, Amrapalli jewellers, Navrattan and plenty more will showcase some unique collections, while the best names from the business of silk and trousseau such as Zari and Vasansi from Jaipur will highlight lines that suit the modern bride’s rapidly changing tastes.
What’s interesting is that, besides the big names, the Bridal Mantra team has also travelled across the country to explore new design talent and notice-worthy retailers, and will bring them to Chennai to make your trousseau shopping experience richer than before. So here is a chance to see the best from famed shopping destinations such as New Delhi, Mumbai and Jaipur — all in your own city! Besides saris and ensembles, accessories and gift articles, the show will also feature a plethora of service providers relating to weddings.
Launched in 2011, Bridal Mantra has featured a dozen top-notch designers, including Ritu Kumar, Varun Bal, Suhani Pittie, Anjali and Arjun Kapoor, Falguni and Shane Peacock, Ecru and Raghavendra Rathore. After successful showing in Chennai for two years, Bridal Mantra crossed shores and created ripples in the Singapore fashion world last year. This year it will move to Hyderabad after Chennai. What’s more? It’s all set to sizzle in the Dubai shopping scene in early 2014!
