When the lights go on , this place surely makes a style statement. The roof is designed to resemble the Denver Airport and the outdoor seating gives the feeling of a lazy day by a beach side restaurant. Quiznos, one of the largest Sub Quick Service Restaurant chains in the world with over 4000 stores spread across 35 countries opens its India operations in mana Hyderabad.

The first flagship store of the chain that pioneered the toasted subs and quick service restaurant for subs, salads, pizza, desserts and soups is now in the city. The menu features Quiznos' signature toasted subs and flatbread sammies, as well as the chef-inspired salads, pizzas and desserts that it is known for. With a seating capacity of more than 100, it is definitely one of the largest places for a wholesome fun meal. How is Quiznos different? For one it is non-messy, doesn't have the dressing oozing out from all sides and what's more, thesesubs don't tell that you lack table manners.

To get a real feel of the toasted subs, it is the variety of breads that make the difference. To begin with, there are three choices of breads, multi grain which is the real high fibre bread, Rosemary parmesan and the regular Classic Italian . The rosemary parmesan is a definite choice as the first bite releases a number flavours in your mouth. The cheeses used in the breads are real cheese and the parmesan is mostly blended in the dough for that extra flavour. For meat lovers there is Baja chicken which comes loaded with chicken chunks. Not too many dressings which allow one to savour the flavour of the breads, meat and the dressings. The toasted breads are just pleasantly crunchy on the outside and not in a charcoaled state. Quiznos knows the difference between toast and roast.

The other choice for non-vegetarians would be the zesty grilled chicken and the mutton shami. Quiznos serves two types of meats - gourmet cold cut and musk flavoured chicken.

Vegetarians will love the Veggie Manchurian and the Veggie soya chipotle. There is also aloo spinach. If you are in a mood to begin with something hot to drink, the mushroom soup will not let you down. It is cheesy and creamy and soothes your mood and sense with the first spoonful. Going for a second helping shouldn't be a surprise. Those in mood for something spicy can go for the tomato soup. Its unusual spicy flavour is good enough for kick start.

Among the good variety of salads, you will find the Hawaiian Chicken and Veg Hawaiian to be two distinct choices. The foods come with the health factor as well, with chiya seeds being used in the salads for the omega fatty acid. To tantalise the local taste buds, there will be some local customisation of the menu, including new custom sauces and dressings that reflectthe flavours of traditional Indian cuisine. Also, Indian grains could be incorporated into the bread and a broader variety of vegetarian selections.

If after all this, your dil cries for a dessert, go for the pro-biotic frozen yogurts which comes loaded with fresh cut fruits and dry fruits.
