Now that winter is on its way out, it is time to prepare for warmer days. Today being Holi one can celebrate both the occasions. A number of hotels and eating outlets have arranged a special menu of food and drinks for the denizens of the Capital and NCR.

Ssence at The Suryaa, New Friends Colony, has set a special Holi menu for its guests with dishes like kesar parantha rolls, eggplant Parmegiano, asparagus risotto mint, chocolate opera and crème brulee.

Dhaba by Claridges is stirring up some drinks with flavours like Somras, Ruhaani Lassi, and Toofan – drinks with a desi twist at DLF Place, Saket and Cyber Hub, Gurgaon from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.

A specially crafted menu is awaiting the guests at Café Delhi Heights at Vasant Kunj and Gurgaon (Ambience Island and Cross Point Mall) from gulaab thandai to strawberry lassi to tickle the palate along with special Indian sweets like thandai and kulfi from 3 p.m. onwards.

At Thali in Life Caffe, The Corus, Connaught Place one can enjoy paneer pasanda, kurkuri bhindi, dahi gulgule, zaffrani korma, tiranga kabab and of course traditional Indian gujiyas and thandais between noon and 11.30 p.m.

Adding colour to the festival, are the offerings of Foodhall in New Delhi and Gurgaon like kunafa baklava, kunafa stuffed dates, kunafa ballorieh cashew, kunafa ballorieh pistachio with servings of fresh thandai.

Pind Balluchi situated in New Delhi’s Pamposh Enclave, Janakpuri and Model Town offers Rang Biranga Buffet comprising a selection of Indian, European, Chinese and Oriental cuisine with a separate salad and dessert bar. The menu has dishes like zafrani paneer tikka, smoked watermelon with Feta, rajmah ki galouti, balsamic flavoured vegetable skewer, dragon rolls, etc along with desserts like apple cinnamon tarts, blueberry mousse, chenna payesh, and a lot more.

You can also enjoy the festival of colours with friends over wines from Charosa Vineyards. The new-world wines are Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, Sauvignon Blanc and Viognier.
