Touch of difference

Every year our school celebrates Onam in a traditional manner and as always, we create a floral carpet with flowers that we buy from the market.

This year our school decided not to waste money, but use it for a noble cause. We agreed to contribute money to help families affected by floods. An amount of 25,000 rupees was collected and handed over to the affected people. That moment made me prouder than when we got first prize in the floral carpet competition. This Onam will always remain memorable for me.
