Seasons of the year

September 04, 2014 08:34 pm | Updated 08:34 pm IST

On a sunny day, I went to the beach

It took me almost eight hours to reach.

The sun was sweltering and hot,

It was only an ice cream that I had got.

The water was clear, nothing to hide,

Oh! What a relief, I cried.

The leaves fell and then came Autumn,

Apples tossed in the air, even the plum.

When will rain come, thought everyone,

But at least, there was no sun.

It rained heavily, the ground was soaking wet,

But winter had not come yet.

Snowfall started and brought happiness,

I cried in ecstasy, this was required, yes!

Seasons do not occur out of fear,

And so it goes, every year.
