Seasons go by

Summer says adieu and welcomes autumn

It is the season that gives pleasure

And that is nature’s biggest treasure.

The green leaves undergo a remarkable phenomena,

The leaves change into different hues

Of red, scarlet, brown and deep yellow.

Prepared for the winter to shed its leaves,

And to grow new and young ones.

As the wind blows, the leaves rustle

And down it comes like drizzling rain.

Now the leaves numbered less,

After some days they bear

Then another marvel of nature happens,

Winter is coming.

As the flocks are all set to migrate,

And the animals to hibernate.

Instead of dead leaves on the ground,

A thick blanket of snow shall be found.
