National Public School, Rajajinagar bid adieu to its outgoing students at the graduation ceremony held recently. Arvind Jadhav, chairman, KUIDFC, delivered the keynote address. School principal Santhamma Gopalkrishna wished them success. K. P. Gopalkrishna, chairman, NPS Group, was present.
To mark the declaration of 2012 as the “National Mathematical Year”, the innovative Academy for Mathematics conducted a painting competition, “IAMath Artist 2012” for high school and pre-university students on the theme 'Mathematics in daily life'.
Around 900 students from 20 schools and colleges participated. Abipriya Shankar, Std. VIII student of Ramanashree English School, Vijayanagar emerged winner in the high school level.
Ryan International School, Kundanahalli , held its sports meet at Sri Kanteerava Stadium recently. Rathan Singh, former chairperson, Para Olympics Committee declared the meet open. With the lighting of the torch and release of balloons the various events began. The chief guest and other guests of honour distributed prizes to the winners.
