Plastic pollution

Plastic poses is major problem for our country. Plastic bags and all kinds of plastic waste are the major sources of pollution. Plastic bags are costly to recycle. India is one of the biggest consumers of plastic in the world. However, little measures have been taken to recycle and reuse plastic. India’s garbage collection and disposal facilities are abysmal. Different kinds of plastic material are dumped indiscriminately.

People can follow some simple steps to prevent this kind of pollution are. Some of the things to do are recycling plastic bags, buying products that have biodegradable packing. However, we will find it difficult to replace plastic chairs and tables, because when we replace them with wooden materials deforestation will occur. So, all plastic materials cannot be replaced.
