Ideal teacher

It is true that one doesn’t realise the importance of eyes when one doesn’t have it. Such is the case with Ms. Reeba from my previous school. Our class saw the world through her and ideologies made us think. She taught us since Grade 3 and her way of teaching was unique. We loved her Geography lessons when she allowed us to sprawl on the green grass along the river and learn. Her life experiences were our textbooks.

Taking her quizzes and doing exam revisions with her was a pleasure. The sleepover camp organised for our class by her still remains in my heart. She planted good values in our minds. It was her idea to start a vegetable garden in our school. Every school should have a teacher like her. Calling her amma accidentally instead of ma’am is a mistake I still enjoy.
