Happy tree

March 23, 2010 08:32 pm | Updated 08:32 pm IST

I am tall and lean. I am special because I use carbon dioxide, water and sunlight to make my food. I live in a coastal village called Cheppanam. I pray that a gale or twister doesn't attack this place. I have quite a lot of coconuts on my head but they are not ripe. So, I can't drop them down. It is against the Coco-rules (the rules in the coconut tree civilization) to do so. I really wonder how those two-legged humans manage to move from place to place. I am comfortable staying wherever I am and also enjoy the scenic view. Anyway, I have to have a nap because I am feeling sleepy in the cool breeze.
