Green is in

August 21, 2014 04:38 pm | Updated 04:38 pm IST

I am a proud student of Emerald Valley Public School, Salem. My school has initiated many green steps towards protecting nature. We are working on a green assignment in which we plant a sapling at home, or in any place available close by so that they will provide shade.

We take care of it, watering it daily, protecting it from being eaten by animals or destroyed by people. We watch as it grows big. We can all be green enthusiasts by planting more saplings.

Apart from this, we also have an Eco Product club, Recycling club, Sapling club and more. These clubs give a boost to the greenery.  We enjoy taking part in these clubs and creating something new especially when it helps make our earth look better.
